These British Forces Individual Protection Kits (IPKs) are a survival shelter in a pouch and consist of an olive green waterproof sheet, steel tent pegs and cords. Designed as an emergency single-use battlefield shelter for up to two soldiers, each IPK is packed in a sealed waterproof pouch. Also comes with detailed instructions for making one or two man shelters. IPKs can be quickly modified into a low cost re-usable basha by fitting either tarpaulin clips, rings, grommets or eyelets (widely available on the web). Dimensions - L34cm by W13cm by D5cm (packed); L272cm by W146cm (tarpaulin unpacked). Weighs - 900 grams. Colour - olive green.
