Malayan Scouts Cloth Arm Patch

Vintage Malayan Scouts Cloth Arm Badge originally purchased from collector in order to produce a reproduction badge for the 70th anniversary of 21 SAS (Volunteers). The process involved the original badge being studied by a leading UK MOD recognised manufacturer in order to ascertain original materials, threads and colour scheme. The resulting hand embroidered badge was highly desirable and the limited run of 250 quickly sold out. The original badge is now being sold. A reproduction Malayan Scouts Shoulder Badge is also included. The exact history of this vintage badge is not documented but it is understood to have been part of a large collection purchased by the previous seller. Measurements - L6.7cm by H6.7cm. Weighs - 2 grams. Colouring - regulation blue, sand and black on black felt backing.
