BCB Combat Application Torniquet (CAT) enhanced model. Designed to be a true one handed tourniquet that stops arterial blood flow from arms and legs in the event of a serious injury whilst in the field. Small and lightweight so easily carried as part of a first aid kit. Made with a self-adhering band and buckle adaptor designed to fit a range of extremities. The CAT uses a windlass system with a free moving internal band to provide pressure all around. The windlass, once wound can be locked into place to maintain pressure. There is a Velcro securing strap to provide added security. Important: the CAT is for use in an emergency only and designed for adult use. To be used by qualified personnel, medics or emergency responders. One size only. Colour – black. Weighs – 59g grams.
